Our main product is recovered Western Red Cedar,
which stood in the original forests that were felled by the British Columbian
lumber industry in Canada, between 1890 and 1920.
We recover the lumber that was originally left behind on the ground. In
those days, only the middle third of the tree was processed and the remainder
discarded. Today, it is recognised that this discarded lumber is of very
good quality and highly sought after, especially in architectural circles
for its aesthetic values.
NDS have developed a niche market to specialise in utilising this discarded
and forgotten material and creating usable cedar products from it.
